Formed in 1963 by Kevern Roy Turner,  Sunnybank Brass is a community brass band based in the southern suburb of Sunnybank (Brisbane, Australia) and has a rich history of entertaining audiences with a diverse repertoire ranging from traditional brass band classics to contemporary hits.

With a commitment to excellence and inclusivity, Sunnybank Brass Band brings music to life, performing at local events, competitions, and special occasions. Whether captivating crowds at a community festival or delivering stirring performances on stage, the band’s dedication to creating memorable musical experiences is unmatched. In 2018, Sunnybank Brass travelled overseas to China for the Shanghai Tourism Festival and enjoyed their first international trip!

Proudly carrying its signature teal, Sunnybank Brass Band thrives on fostering a sense of camaraderie and connection, uniting members and audiences alike through the joy of brass music.
